Most of the time when a dog shows a "bulbous" appearance is due to worms. You need your control. Worms are treated very common in puppies under 6 months and is easily accessible by appropriate medication. Have you noticed something like spaghetti in their stools, or coughing and nausea? If your dog to the vet. It is more likely to have roundworms. Any internal parasite is left untreated, can lead to malnutrition, anemia and possibly death. When in doubt, always go to the vet. Good luck.

It is necessary to take him to the vet with a stool sample. It probably has worms.
